For over one billion people throughout the world, Ramadan is a very special time of the year. Once the cresent moon (hilal) is sighted, a “month of blessing” starts, marked by prayer, fasting, and charity.
The thought behind the design
Ramadan for children is particularly a special time when they receive gifts and sweets as a token of love from friends and family. Set during the night time celebrations, this young girl captures a magical Bahrain Bay logo as she looks towards the night sky to see them appear from the moon.
