Bahrain Bay and the community
From the outset Bahrain Bay has shown a commitment to the local community. As the project is regarded as a key component in the future of Manama it is felt to be very important to engage with the wider community. Here are a few examples of how community focus has been part of Bahrain Bay;
- Students from the Abdul Rahman Kanoo International School were sponsored to visit Zanzibar where they helped to restore and renovate a local school.
- There are very close links with the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Bay frequently welcomes student visitors and offers architectural and engineering placements to promising graduates.
- We are the proud sponsors of the region’s annual Water and Energy Conservation Expo – obviously a very relevant topic in the development of Bahrain Bay.
By forging these close links with the educational and business communities we aim to show our commitment to being a driving force in the economic and social development of Bahrain.
